Short biographical information

Ismailova Nigar Sabir was born on February 23, 1973 in Baku. After graduating from high school in 1990, she studied at the Geography faculty of Baku State University in 1990-1995. From January 1, 1996 she began her career as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Geodesy and Cartography at the Faculty of Geography of Baku State University. She has been working as a lecturer at the department "Geography of Azerbaijan and teaching methodology of Geography" since 2014.

Education, scientific degrees and titles

She studied at the faculty of "Geography" of Baku State University in 1990-1995.
She studied at the doctoral department of Baku State University on specialty "Physical Geography, Biogeography, Geography Geography, Geochemistry and Geophysics of Landscape" (5408.01) in 2000-2006.
She defended his dissertation on the subject "Modern Agro Irrigation Landscapes and their Ecological Problems in Saumur-Davachi and Gusar Plain," and received a PhD in Geographical Sciences in 2008.

WORK ACTİVİTY

She began her career as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Geodesy and Cartography at the Faculty of Geography of Baku State University from January 1, 1996.

She has been working as a teacher at the Department of "Methodology of Teaching Geography and Geography of Baku State University" since 2014.
From 2009 to 2017 She has published on landscape studies and landscape ecology, landscape anthropogenic transformation more than, 50 scientific articles, 1 monograph on agro-landscape landscapes, 6 educational programs, and at national, regional and international scientific conferences. Her works include US, UK, Russia, France, Australia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Turkmenistan and others. Published in journals and scientific articles of the countries.

She worked as a teacher at the Geography faculty of Baku State University in 2000-2014.
She has been working as a teacher at the Department of "Geography of Azerbaijan and teaching methodology of Geography" of Geography faculty of Baku State University since 2014.

RESEARCH AREA

She has published more than 50 scientific articles in the field of "Landscape Studies", "Landscape Ecology", "Landscape Anthropogenic Transformation", "Agro-irrigation Landscape". Her works were published in prestigious magazines, scientific conferences and symposiums of Azerbaijan and abroad (Great Britain, France, Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan etc.)
In 2014-2016, programs were published by her with the Ministry of Education with the theme "Landscape of Azerbaijan", "Evolution of landscape of Azerbaijan", "Ecological problems of landscape landscapes", "Anthropogenic transformations of landscapes".
