Brief bibliographic information:

Akhmadova I.I. was born in 1965 November 6th in Baku city. During 1973-1983 she was studying in the Classic Gymnasium No 160 in Baku. In the period of 1983-1988 she graduated from the Faculty of Geology and Geography at Baku State University. During 1988 – 2000 she was working at the Institute of Geography of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. Since 2000 she has been working at the department "Economic - political geography of foreign countries and tourism" at Baku State University as a senior teacher. In 2011, she was awarded the academic title of associate professor of the department "Economic - political geography of foreign countries and tourism".

  • - 1999, defended the candidate's work on the topic "Geographical Aspects of the Productive Forces of the Newly-Formed Areas of Eastern Azerbaijan";
  • - 1993 - 1999, postgraduate, Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences;
