She was born in Baku on September 4, 1948. She has studied Sabunchu district in the secondary school N128 named after N.Narimanovth in the Baku city in 1956-1966. She has studied in the geology- geography faculty of the Baku State University in 1966-1971. She works in the Baku State University from 1972.H.Soltanova is chief of the economical, political geography of the foreign countries and tourism from 1996.
