PERSONAL DATA
Abasova Nazif Ali gyzy was born on March 1, 1948 in Baku. In 1966 graduated from secondary school number 132 and in the same year entered the faculty of geological exploration of the Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Chemistry. In 1965-1969 worked in the Caspian sector of the Institute of Geography of the National Academy of Sciences. In 1977 worked as a laboratory assistant, in 1992 as a teacher, and since 1993 has been working as a senior lecturer at Baku State University. In 2007 was nominated to teacher of the year and was awarded an honorary decree.

EDUCATION AND ACADEMIC DEGREES OBTAINED
• In 1966 entered the faculty of geological exploration of the Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Chemistry. In 1973 graduated from the faculty of geological exploration of the Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Chemistry.

COMPLETE PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

• From 1965 to 1969 worked in the Caspian sector of the Institute of Geography of the National Academy of Sciences.
• Since 1977 - Senior Laboratory Assistant at the Department of Physical Geography of Baku State University.
• Since 1992 – lecturer
• Since 1993 occupies a post of senior lecturer
• Published 17 scientific articles.
